Last updated: Oct 5, 2026

The Point of Sale (POS) is an add-on feature in LocalizeBook that helps businesses process sales transactions quickly while automatically recording them in the accounting system.

The POS module consists of the following sections:

  • POS Center
  • POS Sale
  • POS Shift

POS Center

The POS Center is the main workspace for processing Point of Sale transactions. Before creating POS sales, you must open a shift in the POS Center. You can create sales by selecting items manually or scanning product barcodes.

POS Sale

The POS Sale section allows you to view and manage all completed POS transactions. You can search, review, edit, void, delete, and export POS sales records.

ImagePOS Shift

The POS Shift section allows you to monitor and manage cashier shifts. It displays the opening and closing information for each shift, including sales totals, payment methods, and cash reconciliation for the selected shift.
