The Dashboard is the first page displayed after you log in to your LocalizeBook business. It provides a real-time overview of your business performance and financial status, helping you monitor key information and make informed business decisions.
The Dashboard includes the following sections:
- Customize Dashboard
- Vendor Summary
- Customer Summary
- Profit & Loss
- Top Sales
- Qty Reorder List
Customizing Dashboard
The Customize Dashboard feature allows you to personalize your Dashboard by choosing which widgets to display and arranging them to match your business needs. This helps you focus on the information that is most important to your business.
Follow these steps to customize your Dashboard.
Enter Edit Mode
- Click Edit Dashboard in the top-right corner of the Dashboard.
- The Dashboard will enter Edit Mode, where you can add, remove, rearrange, or resize dashboard widgets.
Add, Remove, and Rearrange Widgets
While in edit mode, you can:
- Add a Widget: Click the Add Widget button to open a dropdown list of all available widgets. Click on any item to add it to your dashboard. Widgets with a green checkmark are already on your dashboard.
- Remove a Widget: Click the icon on the top-right corner of any widget to remove it.
- Rearrange Widgets: Click and hold any widget, then drag it to a new position and release.
- Auto Organize: Click the Auto Organize button to automatically arrange your selected widgets into a clean, optimized grid.
Using the "Sample Data" Toggle
While in edit mode, you will see a Sample Data toggle switch.
When you enable "Sample Data," LocalizeBook will temporarily populate your dashboard widgets with example figures. This allows you to see what a fully active dashboard looks like, even if your account is new and has no transactions yet.
Important: The sample data is for preview purposes only. It will not be saved to your actual financial records and will disappear once you save and exit edit mode.
Save Your Changes
Customize your LocalizeBook dashboard layout using the controls available in the three-dot menu.in the top-right corner. These options allow you to finalize, discard, or reset your changes.
- Save: Keeps all your changes and sets your new layout as the default dashboard.
- Reset: Deletes all your customizations and restores the dashboard to its original, factory-default layout.
- Cancel: Discards any unsaved changes from your current session and exits edit mode.
Your new layout is now saved and will be your default view.
Vendor
The Vendor section displays your purchase, AP, and bill payment to your vendors. This section is divided into parts:
- Total Purchase - The total amount you're ordering your product from the supplier The amount displayed by the system shows the current date only.
- Total AP - The total amount you’re not yet paying for your purchase bill transactions.
- Total Bill Payment - The total amount you’re paying for your purchase bill transactions The amount displayed by the system shows the current date only.
Customer
The Customer section displays your sale, AR, and collection from your customer. This section is divided into parts:
- Total Invoice - The total amount you're selling your product for to the customer The amount displayed shows the current date only.
- Total AR - The total amount your customers are not yet paying for your sales product transactions.
- Total Collection - The total amount you collect from your customer for your sale product transactions The amount displayed by the system shows the current date only.
Profit and Loss
The Profit and Loss is a comprehensive summary of all the profits and losses that you’ve made in your business during a specific period of time.
It also contains a summary of your operating and non-operating expenses.
Top Sale
In the Top Sale, The items that show on the displays are all the top sales of your product recorded in Localizebook.
Qty Reorder List
In the Qty Reorder List, if you have set the alarm on quantity in stock, the system will remind you to know.
Your product item will show on this part when you sell it in the quantity that you set.
