Multi-Branch

Manage multiple branches within one company account and separate customers, vendors, and reference numbers by branch.

Overview

The Multi-Branch feature allows businesses to manage multiple branches within a single LocalizeBook account. Each branch can have its own branch information, Chart of Accounts, and POS account settings.

Businesses can also choose to separate customers, vendors, and reference numbers by branch, making it easier to organize branch-level operations and accounting activities.

What You Can Manage

With Multi-Branch, you can manage:

  1. Branches – Create and manage multiple branches under one company account.
  2. Customers by Branch – Separate customer records by branch.
  3. Vendors by Branch – Separate vendor records by branch.
  4. Reference Numbers by Branch – Use separate reference number sequences for each branch.
  5. Chart of Accounts – Configure the applicable accounts for each branch.
  6. POS Accounts – Configure the POS Collection Account and POS Discount Account for each branch.

Activate Multi-Branch

Before creating and managing branches, you need to activate the Multi-Branch feature.

Go to:

Settings → Preference → Branch

Enable Active Multi Branch.

You can then configure the following options:

Separate Customer by Branch

Allows customer records to be managed separately for each branch.

Separate Vendor by Branch

Allows vendor records to be managed separately for each branch.

Separate Ref Number by Branch

Allows each branch to use its own reference number sequence.

Click Save to apply the settings.

Set Up a Branch

After activating Multi-Branch, you can create and configure a branch from:

Settings → Branch → Add Branch

Manage Branches

Once branches have been created, you can manage them from:

Settings → Branch

From the Branch section, you can:

  1. View Branches – View all branches created under the company account.
  2. Add a Branch – Create a new branch.
  3. Edit a Branch – Update existing branch information and settings.
  4. Manage Chart of Accounts – Select the accounts applicable to the branch.
  5. Configure POS Accounts – Set the POS Collection Account and POS Discount Account.

Branch Information

When creating or editing a branch, you can configure the following information:

  1. Code – Enter a unique code to identify the branch.
  2. Name – Enter the branch name.
  3. Local Branch Name – Enter the branch name in the local language.
  4. Phone – Enter the branch's contact number.
  5. Address – Enter the branch address.
  6. POS Collection Account – Select the account used for POS collections.
  7. POS Discount Account – Select the account used for POS discounts.
  8. Chart of Accounts – Select the accounts applicable to the branch.
  9. Note – Add additional information related to the branch.

Separate Customers by Branch

When Separate Customer by Branch is enabled, customer records can be managed separately for each branch.

This helps businesses organize customer information based on the branch associated with the customer.

When Separate Vendor by Branch is enabled, vendor records can be managed separately for each branch.

This helps businesses organize vendor information and purchasing activities according to the relevant branch.

Separate Reference Numbers by Branch

When Separate Ref Number by Branch is enabled, each branch can use its own reference number sequence.


This makes it easier to identify and organize transactions and documents by branch.
