Bank Deposit

Learn how to create and record a Bank Deposit in LocalizeBook, including entering deposit details, selecting the bank account, and saving the transaction.

Bank Deposit is used to record transactions where money is deposited into a bank account.

There are two ways to add a Bank Deposit in LocalizeBook:

  1. Create Bank Deposit
  2. Batch Bank Deposit

Create Bank Deposit

Go to make a Bank Deposit in Localizebook:

  1. Go to Accounting.
  2. Select Bank Deposit.
  3. Click + Add in the top-right corner.
  4. Enter the required information:

Basic Information

  1. Number: Automatically generated by the system.
  2. Date: Select the transaction date.
  3. Currency: Select the transaction currency.
  4. Deposit To: Select the Bank account where the money will be deposited.
  5. Memo: Enter a description or note for the transaction.

Deposit Details

  1. Received From: Select the Vendor or Customer who provided the money.
  2. From Account: Select the account to be offset against the bank account.
  3. Memo: Enter a description or note for the transaction.
  4. Amount: Enter the deposit amount.
Note: The Amount at the top is automatically calculated based on the deposit details entered below.

Save the Bank Deposit

After entering all required information, you can:

  1. Save & New: Save the current Bank Deposit and create a new one.
  2. Save & Close: Save the Bank Deposit and close the window.
  3. Close: Exit without saving the Bank Deposit.
