Class

In LocalizeBook, the Class feature is used for departmental, segment, or cost-center tracking across your financial transactions. Instead of creating messy duplicate accounts in your Chart of Accounts, assigning a Class allows you to tag income, expenses, invoices, and bills to specific categories such as:

1. Departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, IT, HR)
2. Business Divisions / Segments (e.g., Wholesale vs. Retail)
3. Projects or Events
4. Product Lines or Services

Note : Before you can use Class, you must activate it first (active class).

1. Open LocalizeBook and go to the Accounting menu.
2. Click “Class”.
3. Click “Add”.
4. Type the Class Name (example: “Class A” , “Class B” ).
5. Click “Save”.
