Discount
If you give discounts to your customers, you can select the level of discount applicable to the transactions. Choose how discounts are applied in transactions.
On the discount page, you will find information about:
Creating New Discount
Go to creating a new discount in Localizebook:
- Click on the Settings
icon.
- Click on the “Discount”
- Click on the “Add” button.

- After you click on the “Add” button, you will be redirected to the page below:
1.Name (required): Enter your discount name.
2.Discount Type: Choose your discount setup as below:
- Unit Price: The price per unit of a product or service.
- Value (required): Enter amount to make a discount.
- Discount Method: If you choose %, the amount filled in the Value column system will be calculated as a percentage. If you choose Amt, the amount filled in the Value column system will be calculated as amount.
3.Customer Type (required): Set up your discount with your customer type as below:
- All customer type: Set up your discount to apply to all customers.
Button: Choose the customer type for which you want to create a discount.
4.Customer: Select the customer for whom you want to set up a discount.
5.Week days: Set up your discount day as follows:
- All days: Set up your discount for all days.
Button: Select the day that you want to set up a discount.
5.From: Select your date for which you want to set up a discount.
6.From Time: Select the time that you want to set up a discount.
7.Item Group: Set up your discount with your item group as below:
- All item groups: Set up your discount for all item groups.
Button: Select the item group for which you want to set up a discount.
8.Item: Select your item for which you want to set up a discount.
9.Item Brand: Set up your discount with your item brand as below:
- All item brands: Set up your discount for all item brands.
Button: Choose the item brand for which you want to create a discount.
10.Except Item: The item that you select in this is not included in your set-up discount.
11.Memo: Other marks or comments that relate to your discount.
12.This Below point for:
- Print Preview: Preview before you print the add-on discount template.
- Export Excel: Download your discount set-up as Excel files.
13.After filling all with your information:
- Save & New: Save the current setup discount and add another one.
- Save & Close: Save the current setup discount and close the window.
- Close: Close this window without saving the current setup discount.

Note: This discount setup is applicable to the POS function only.
Editing Discount
Go to the editing discount in Localizebook:
- Click on the Settings
icon.
- Click on the “Discount”
- Click on the discount name that you want to edit.
- Click on the “Edit” button.

Deleting Discount
Go to deleting discounts in Localizebook:
- Click on the Settings
icon.
- Click on the “Discount”
- Click on the discount name that you want to delete.
- Click on the “Delete” button.
