Item Brands

An Item Brand is used to identify the manufacturer or brand associated with an item.

Brands help you organize and identify products, especially when your business sells products from multiple manufacturers.

What Is an Item Brand?

An Item Brand represents the brand or manufacturer of a product.

For example:

  1. Apple
  2. Samsung
  3. Dell
  4. HP
  5. Logitech
  6. Coca-Cola

Once a brand is created, it can be selected when creating or editing an item.

Example

For the item:

Item Name: Dell Latitude 5440

Item Brand: Dell

Item Group: Electronics → Computers → Laptops

Item Type: Stock Part

This separates the item's brand, category, and item type.
